Ever since laying my eyes on the inner stairway of the Baltic Flour Mill in Gateshead I have been waiting patiently for a bride to be married there, and this year got my chance to bag the shot. For me its just a beautiful contrast of light, texture and pattern that makes for a unique and memorable image.

Managed the high contrast well and intriguing location and juxtaposition of subjects. If I were to quibble, would have been nice to see her face maybe but not sure that would be possible. Very striking image nonetheless.
