This is all Carsten's fault – My 1957 MGA – For the car enthusiast, since the photo was taken I have replaced the MK2 grill with a genuine Mk1 grill and also put the original bumper over riders back on. Carsten, I loved your image from the Motor Show – but this one is my “Boys Toy”.

Definitly a boy's toy. Look forward to seeing more pics as you continue the restoration.

I must say that this is a superb shot. The shoot angle is perfect giving a great lead in proportional image. Focus, Colours, Exposure and detail are spot on. It would be a credit in any enthusiasts magazine.

Also one of the cars I yearned for in my youth but like a lot of us marriage, children and a mortgage got priority.

Fabulous shot of a great car !

This takes me back - I bought an old MGA as my first car before I passed my test, I loved it - But my father wouldn't let me keep it and sold it !

How sad is that !

My sympathies to Chris - I can just imagine someone going for their driving test in an MGA ! Dad's are a pain sometimes, aren't they ? Great shot, great car - would love a ride in that sometime ! Cheers, Von
