Thanks to everyone that voted on the first version, but after looking at the image I found I had made some really basic errors, reflections. The slash should have appeared as a reflection. This is the edited versions now we are 7 In 1 - first attempt at combining images - so be kind - looks good large, please view it if you have the time to pause Thanks for looking - Andy

Great image. From the write up on yesterday's posting, I take it a lot of work went into this.

The only thing I find at odds, is the lack of movement in the water. Whenever you see a water droplet shot, which this at it's simplest is, the droplet is surrounded by ripples. But there are none here.

If this is as shot, then that's fair enough. Obviously water droplets cause water to react differently to an apple.

I like the transparent border. Very classy.

I think both versions are great. Superb work, but... I prefer the first one! Sorry, I find the reflection of the splash in this makes the pic cluttered and the border doesn't help in that respect. But look that's just me, this is an excellent piece of work.

A very well created image - took a look at the previous upload and this is certainly better and as can be seen, a great deal of work has gone into this clever creation.

I think Davey has a good valid point and I would also add that the translucency of the water on the right of the 'splash' is a tad too milky. That said, this is an excellent creation and I look forward to seeing more of the same.

Good Point - Davey - there is a ripple layer in the shot, but it did get lost a bit - will need to bring it up some more - thanks for the view and comment. - Andy
