Passed the house so many times and never had the time to go in, but I always wanted to. An icon of architectural design and innovation.

Anyway, this is well spotted, very well composed and exposed. Spot on for an architectural abstract!

yes good spot nice strong and clean

Nice artistry and well composed.

Did you add a couple of shadows? To me there is a spot where the rails hit the wall and the shadows start that just is not quite right -

May simply be due to the image compression.

Like to know anyway in case I need my eyes checked.

Nice shot - Andy

Thanks all for the kind comments.

Andy - nothing has been added to or taken away from the original image. To me that exceeds what I consider reasonable image enhancement.

great comp and tones. Passed the house 5 days a week on my way to university for 15 years. Good personal impression this, I'd almost say who's afraid of the (white) red yellow and blue .

Thanks for letting me know Dave - I could not see that they had been added - from looking the little clink in the shadow is the result of a rough fill job by a painter or plasterer.

Cheers - Andy

Why the Award – For me this represents the essence of the history of photography.

“Painting with Light” – Sadly something that is tending to get lost in the digital world of today.

Had this image been done pre 1980 it would have won much more than my award.

Great Job – Dave – true photography at its best.
