Today we went out for a walk, and I noticed that the settings dial on my camera was loose. It didn't click in like it normally does, and although it did still change modes, it was easily moved by just catching it with my hand. I'm a bit miffed but try to get over it.
So we finish our walk and I start playing Lego Star Wars with my Dad.
Next thing I know, Mum's in the room asking me if I love her and saying I could never hate her - turns out while trying to see if she could fix it, the dial had actually fallen off of the camera. I'm not miffed about this at all, since now there's a real problem with the camera and there won't be a problem getting it fixed or swapped (well, there'd better not be...).
The camera still works though! Unfortunately the dial snapped off in the 'video' mode. So now it's like a camcorder instead of a camera
Luckily I've got a few photos to tide me over until it all gets sorted. And maybe now I can have a shiney new camera again! All be it the same camera as before XD
EDIT: My camera was sent off yesterday to be replaced (why they couldn't replace it then, I don't know...). Isn't it funny how you miss things when they aren't there, but when they are you don't use them so much?
So apparantly it'll take a couple of weeks to sort (that's what they told mum, anyway. I was at work at the time). And now, to wait....
EDIT II: Well, I got a phone call last week telling me my camera was in, but when I rang the shop, they said it wasn't! They reckon it was in the office when they rang me, which is annoying because we nearly went into town special for something that wasn't there! We're going in today, so I'm going to go and ask them what's happening. I miss my camera!!!
