DAY 241, GETTING A HEAD

Doing a 365 stops you getting ahead of yourself, unlike a portfolio entry you cannot have a bank of shots to call upon. But where you can get a head at this time of year is at a local nature reserve. I'm talking about plants setting seeds and fruits before their season ends and winter takes hold.

img-1453-1779-edited-1.jpg The blackberries, growing through a hawthorn.

Do you pick the blackberries and cook a crumble / make some wine ?
That is what my mum used to do Smile

No I'm afraid not, but it's a great idea, a friend makes jam from them but wine sounds much better Smile

After a bit of research I think my mystery plant may be wild carrot, Daucus carota.

Strangely, before noticing your above comment, I looked the apiaceae up in Collins flower guide, and came to the conclusion it was a wild carrot. So i started to post this comment, and saw you have come to the same conclusion! Great minds think alike.

They do indeed Jack, we have 22 carrot minds that's why all our puns are very bunny.
