454 (519)Today it was my pleasure to help out a photography student by posing for a portrait session. It did feel strange to be the object under the scrutiny of the camera as opposed to the one pointing the thing. Especially as the photographer is the daughter of a friend and he was acting as the lighting assistant. Only weeks into her course and lacking technical knowledge she faired well especially as she is also getting to grips with a new DSLR. I sat this way and that, looked up, down and sideways before ending the session wearing a cowboy hat and toting an air rifle, ah such is life.
A foray to the supermarket was followed by a trip back home where the rigours of the day led me to fall asleep on the settee. I woke just in time to catch the sunset so I took off to a nearby viewpoint to capture today's image.
