251 (298)I am pleased to report that I managed to capture a photo of a Germander today, not only that but I bought the sorry looking little plant for the princely sum of £1.50. So when I do get round to purchasing a macro lens the plant should be in flower and I can bore you with more shots of it.
Tonight I started messing about with the camera in my studio (on top of the microwave in the kitchen) and decide to do some zoom burst shots. I could have chosen a nice flower as a subject but I sense that would not be popular. So I chose my clock instead, and what a struggle I had, first hand held, then out to the car to retrieve the tripod, get that all lined up, fiddle with the settings, and still not get what I consider to be a perfect shot.
Still here is one that nearly makes the grade:-
