Something and Nothing DAY 22
335 (396)Remembering I that had an aged Sigma 600mm Mirror lens attached to an equally old Pentax Spotmatic SP100 film camera I bagan to wonder if the lens would work on my 7D. A few days ago I located an adaptor that would fit the M42 screw fit lens to the Canon and purchased one for a liitle more tha £5.
Happily it arrived today and putting aside all the other things I should have been doing and coupled the assembly together. Did it work? well yes sort of. The results, after some adjustment to find the right exposure, were disappointing with misty shots devoid of contrast. Having said that lighting conditions were not good so I will consider it a work in progress.
