....should at Weybourne Hope begin.
This refers to the natural deep water harbour that occurs over at Weybourne in Norfolk. It was defended heavily during the Napoleonic wars as it was identified as a possible invasion spot and continued to be used by the military up until more recent times.
This is the view towards Weybourne from up on Sheringham cliffs. In all honesty the weather was not good last Thursday and I was just having a stroll along here looking for some decent locations for some sunset shots later in the year. As the sun went down though it did cast a nice little bit of colour through the clouds which contrasted nicely with the shingle on the beech. So it just goes to show it's always worth taking the old camera kit just in case.
Although I do like this I can't wait for the right conditions to come along. Reckon this might not be a bad spot!
Thanks once again for taking the time to have a look. If I don't get around to viewing the gallery tonight I'll catch up over the weekend,.
Cheers
Paul

Interesting stuff, Paul. Thanks, I didn't know any of that.
Lovely bit of coastline. You did well to find it so deserted.
Some interesting shaped headlands here. I'm sure at some point you will get a majestic sky to bring out the best from this location

Bit of trek along here in the colder months Chris. Don't see many folks at all until the grockles arrive in the summer ![]()
