Passed through Brancaster last week so I thought I'd do a bit of a recce for later in the year. I did come across this scene that caught my eye. Some nice patterns and colours in the old crab pots and a nice bit of rust (I know some of you are quite partial to a bit of rust) Smile
I thought I'd combine them with the fishing boat behind to give the scene some context. I went for the shallower DOF as I wanted the focus to be the pots but still wanted it to be clear what was beyond.
Something a bit different from me but I quite liked the results so I thought I'd give it a punt.
The second image is just a quick montage including the other shots I took.
Thanks for the great response to the last upload and I hope you enjoy looking at this one too!!
Paul

I agree with that Paul maybe there is a market out there for it!

No. 1 is a fine well composed image with good dof.

Like the use of DOF Paul and good light too - for me a bit more separation of the fishing boat from the pot would be good.
Like the montage too should market it.
Well captured. Regards Richard.

Excellent shot Paul; super detail and colours in the old pots and a great finishing touch with the boat in the distance

Lovely level of detail here, the dof works a treat too

Sean

Thanks everyone for the comments. I agree with Rich, more separation would have been good and would have strengthened the comp. Advise taken on board and I'll consider this next time!
Paul

Great pictures. Lovely composition in placing the elements in v1 particularly. Good montage, too.
