Made an early start last Thursday and went down to East Runton to see what was doing. It was a bit cloudy to start with but it did break slightly to give a bit of colour to the sky. I really liked the reflection in the rock pool so decided to set up in it! Good job it wasn't too deep ![]()
Used a polariser to get the most from the reflection and a ND soft grad to enhance the sky. Also used a bit of rear flash to get the detail in the fg rocks. Not the best of conditions but I was really pleased with the result. And the biggest bonus? Again, only me and the seabirds here. Time for reflection indeed!
Thanks for stopping by.

Stunning shot.
Lovely colours, and colour balance.
Well done.
Scott
Sounds like a good morning, and you've produced a good shot.
Leigh
You've caught a super reflected sky in that pool Paul, as well as the reflecion of the cliffs to the right.

Thanks very much everyone for the really great comments.
I really do appreciate each and every one ![]()

LOL Sharon. It's ever since we got the cat. We are now masters of sleep deprivation ![]()

Only feels like it Tim ![]()
Part of the processing was to run the ruler over the sea and then rotate as required. The sloping cliffs are probably slight lens distortion from the wide angle. It's those hayfever tablets you mentioned ![]()

Well composed with some lovely early morning colour, Paul.
