have to say when i see images such as this i do miss my 500. great detail and, just as importantly, great background.

have to say that i am not sure i would have 'gambled' at 1/100 (even podded or such) and would have likely pushed ISO up to 1000 and/or dropped 1/3 or 2/3 on EC
