Reminds me very much of the sort of pictures I used to be able to take in Greenock when Scotts shipyard was still there...up until about 1990.
Cranes on the left of your picture are a very similar design to those at Scotts while those on the right look the same as those at the Inchgreen Dry Dock, also in Greenock and remain active.
