Ambleside Christmas 2010

The view from our cottage window 27-12-10 8.30pm 5-6 inches snow
We were due to go home the next morning, how dissappointing to find it had thawed a bit overnight
Arrived on 22-12 departed 28-12 and the winscreen washers did not work all week
Was a little bit cold, apparemtly -20c was recorded in Elterwater one night
Walked to the White Lion on Christmas Day (all of 500 yards) and it was snowing.......very nice
