The Langdale Pikes on the afternoon of what started out as a thouroughly miserable day, but brightened up after lunch. Heading to wards Elterwater for a couple in the Britannia aInn afollowed by a walk up the Beck, turned a corner and was regaled with this view of the Pikes lit through a break in the cloud

beautiful colours and compo. Ahh- Elterwater Inn our honeymoon spent there some 35 years ago . Great memories and good drinking place. Yes a cloning the van out would add a bit. Or should should a say- take something away!! Paul
