The day was decidedly crap for the forst week in July, but the shot had to be taken
And yes, I got wet.....but that's the Lakes folks......and presumably why we love it there

It's an enjoyable drive, very twisty top and bottom, bit easier in the middle
But well worth the effort when you get the chance
3 choices at the top......
into the pub for a pint or two
Left and DOWN Kirkstone pass towards Ullswater
Right and down Kirkstone pass towrds Windermere
