took this at my nieces christening of one of the guests sons, he was swinging around the speaker stand and I just happened to catch it as he looked at me.
I find his eyes absolutley gorgeous. this is one of my favourite photos that I have taken with the nikon d50. I'm notsure it's technically right but i love it and so does his mum who has a very large copy on her fireplace. it looks just as good in colour as well.

Welcome to EPZ..you are about to become an addict..You have some nice shots here so keep them coming.This one is a lovely candid shot but needs a slight lift. Try playing with highlights/midtones and shadows in PS.The grain effect on the colour shot is probably digital noise which can be reduced in pS.I didn't know which end of a camera to look through at first but got better by the advice and forums.Have fun and look forward to seeing more.
