We returned from Grouse mountain in September with what looks like a shot of the same bird...and yes, it was a red tailed hawk. Check out my shot entitled Pre-Flight, I swear it's the same bird.

Thanks for the comments I will rename the shot "Red Tailed Hawk".
Yes,"cheeky" it probably is the same bird. Trust you had as good a holiday in Canada as we had. Fantastic country.
