first of all the sharpness is annoying yes, but im seriously struggling with the focusing, perhaps i need a macro lens, but no thanks to the government i cant afford one...anyway...

it wasn't shot in mono, i converted it later on, i don't like using RAW because i dont have a big enough memory card to justify it, but i understand its easier for conversions etc

anyway, cheers for the advice

i did change it and its working better but as you say it was just the lens i think

and yes they shouldnt expect the money back not for another 5 years yet, they cant just give me money and demand it back!, im going to tell them i dont have any and then see what the bastards say!!!

i could buy my camera all over again for that!
