I like the way that the pool is so calm in contrast to everything else around it. Trimmed in vibrant green weed, it seems unaffected by the stormy sky, howling winds and raging surf.

This is another shot from Whitsand Bay in, what is today, sunny Cornwall!

Thanks to everyone that voted/commented on my previous upload, and to Pete for the generous award!

The tranquil moment looks just that as the black cloud appears to be blowing straight down into the inlet here, drama is about to happen.

All the very best

Rocks pools were one of my fav things of the beach as a child, took me back looking at this picture Paul, WELL DONE

Doug

Don't let the low votes/views ratio fool you. This is excellent for showing colour and detail on a stormy day. People may want more light on the land perhaps? I don't know. Check out the big version. I hope this gets the recognition it deserves.

Very nice indeed. I like the texture in the rocks, the splash of colour in the FG, the movement in the sea & the drama in the sky.

Wonderful colours in this Paul and I like the split between the tranquility of the rock pool and the more active sea behind. Deserves to do well.
