Admirable portrait. Perfect focus & dof, excellent tones, no fancy (=unnecessary) digital effects. Would perhaps suit a very mild sepia toning, as an additional possibility not a replacement.

An excellent portrait which reminds me of so many of the great photographers, two such photographers being Dorothea Lange and Julia Margaret Cameron.

I'm amazed that you could get a wonderfully lit portrait with natural lighting. The is an exquisite mono portrait.

A really unusual feel: pre-Raphaelite, or as NDODS says, perhaps Dorothea Lange.

Quite oddly, it looks as though it's been shot closeup, nad with a wider lens: meaning htat the lady has a particularly characterful face: very lovely, too.

I, for one, am unsurprised that natural light can be so good!

IF ONLY it could be bottles to be used when needed instead of flash heads and softboxes cheers John

Nice mono portrait.

You've caught the light well and the focus is very good around the eye - exposure was probably difficult around the mouth and neck but you've done a good job here Graham

the trouble is EPZ like Photoanswers is fuzzy felt, if you pay it might be different but a lot of detail is lost on uploads to these two sites they are no flickr
