taken just after sunset of the famous liver building in Liverpool,really nice clear night with no clouds.One can see the tower cranes at the sky line and work also on the waterfront.

i really like this photo and the light is just right. nice and clear and a very crisp image..there is a big problem trying to take photos in liverpool now cos everywhere you go a crane is in the background. i cant get a decent photo without a crane or some construction work being in my photo. as soon as they finish the better..sorry for my rant but it does get on my nerves not to get all the 3 graces in with out construction work..nice photo though and the light is good....phil

I agree with Phil, everywhere I go in town there's a construction site and the dreaded cranes that go with 'em. This is a very well balanced exposure and shows 2 of the Graces off beautifully, marred only by the sky carbuncles ... at lease they'll be gone next year Wink

yes your right Phil.........Liverpools waterfront sky line will be completly different in a few years, perhaps for the better perhaps not ? capture it for the records.

Nice exposure, the colours are great. You get the same problem with cranes on the skyline in London at the moment, they are everywhere!

Well yes the cranes are an eye sore but they'll be gone soon enough and it's nice to see so much investment coming in.
