B/W upload from Perch Rock,not to sure if it works would appreciate your views.
It was a good stormy late evening as the tide was turning i felt the foreground rocks added to this scene with the waves rolling in.

What a fantastic shot. Very moody and black & white is excellent. Might make a great panoramic if you chopped the rocks off slightly at the bottom.

It's a lovely conversion with that brooding sky. I saw from your other pics of the lighthouse that you have it relatively central in the comp. Seems to be working!

Definately a sense of isolation-- the fg rocks also show whay you need the lighthouse-- I like this compsition-- think B&W suit this image-- Well done!

It works although I find the crop a bit off putting, would prefer either a square or a fuller frame but hey, just a small point. Think you'd better update your description as you have a good pf and far from beginner stage!

I don't know wich crop woudl be best but I do like the conversion to B&W. I am trying to get into B&W so I don't know much right now and don't have any sage advice, but I'd be quite happy with this one.
