Beautifully balanced asymmetry. I like the way the long horizontal crate bridges the two sides. Neat.

I also like the contrast between the coloured and plain wood - another form of balance!

I think Moira has nailed it with reasons why it's a pleasing image. You've nailed it with seeing the image in the first place and capturing it.
