Please forgive the flight of imagination, but this photo reminds me of a giant sensor opening up like the aperture blades of a lens and down the miraculously appearing stairway you can get inside the camera Wink
Actually it is one of the few nice details of the Museum in Groningen.

I suppose it provokes different thoughts for everyone, I see the stairs as the future, what's there I wont know until I get around that bend.

Love the image Rende.

This turns and winds quite hypnotically, the gap between banister and floor creates an arrowhead travelling against the downward tread of the stairs. Clever composition, superb processing for those glowing metallic tones.

Certain to be a test for any kind of sensor yet devised!
I like your choice of perspective, Rende, while the analogy with an aperture diaphragm certainly rings true.

Bill

Lovely shapes and colours, almost abstract. What would happen if you tried to correct the pixellation?? Grin

Stairway to Heaven maybe when going up. Going down that hallway looks like it might be spooky enough to go the other direction. What a great image, love how you've captured it...........Sandy

Superb! I think it's all been said already by far cleverer folk than me.
You're obviously enjoying the latest addition to your stable of cameras. How does it compare to the Sigma, sensorwise?

What a fantastic staircase and an excellent composition. I love the saturated sherbert colours in the b/g too which match the tiles on the stair walls. So striking.
