I suspect that you have been visiting next door... Bizantine splendour on a simple, austere wall. With the fresh flowers too. Perfect balance.
A very neat touch to frame this to match the icon.

Many people might oppose and criticize the shadow to the right, but I must say that I find it pretty effective in a positive way on this lovely image
