What a great find. It always amazes me at the skeletal leaves you find. They rarely do that here. I wonder what the difference is, these look like poplar leaves, and we certainly have a lot of poplar. Beautiful.

They are skeletonizing - and beautifully I might add. Lovely detail, and I do like that half maple seed pod in the compo.
