A very nice still life with a self portrait to boot. Smile

Also how is that lovely Lucie of yours, is she still walking your leggs off?

A case of 'What's your poison?' perhaps. And a self-portrait too...

I kind of thought of myself as the genie in the bottle because my reflection seems to be located in the biggest bottle of the set Wink

A.k.a. The Photographer in the Demi-John. If you had fitted in one of the smaller bottles I should have been very worried Smile
Beautifully done, Rende.

I wonder whether many people who work in apothecaries nowadays would know the word for their trade? Even fewer would understand the Latin inscriptions, I suspect.

Regards
Bill

I did wonder about the genie of the title. It took me a bit to realise the placement of your ghostly hands & camera.
Nice one.

The Genius in the bottle...

Dougie

For Bill:- I'd guess at distilled water and then I'm lost despite taking Latin at school a few years ago.

My Latin teacher was known as Doc Dum, how little we learned and absorbed of the classic language

Awesome colours and composition Rende, it take a photographer to spot these still life photos, most would look but not take.

The first thing I noticed was the reflections from the window you shot this through, then the bottles themselves, and then grinned from ear to ear when I discovered you in the window too. An image with a pleasant surprise hidden within.

Do genies in bottles have one of those depressed caps that pop up so you can tell whether somebody's already opened it?

Dave.
