I came across this interesting wall the other day. Just below the image there were some garbage containers, and I surmise that someone had put fire to one of them in the past, thus producing this scorch pattern on the whitewashed wall.
P.S. The Exif form doesn't recognise the Sigma DP2, but I assure you it does exist and that I took this photograph with it Wink

What a good find! You've really made a great abstract of this strange pattern.

This is fascinating. You have such an eye for the unusual and the patterns found around us. This has a primal beauty somehow.

Makes a really pleasing image Rende. One can imagine its all sorts of things. One thought came to mind, for why I don't know.....is the yellow brick road and its not even yellow.........Sandy

I envy you this one. I saw the same as Dougie, a sort of abstract Christmas tree. The placement and presentation gift-wrap it beautifully, the human eye makes the picture though.

A rather coy Christmas Tree, trying to hide behind the brick work.
Another unique visualisation via the medium of the Sigma, Rende. It strikes me as the perfect match for your style.

Yes,it does remind me of the old days Rende when you used to scrape the old paint of using a blowtorch.
Interesting shot.

So glad you explained what it was, it had me baffled – again. Well spotted.
