Thanks to everyone for having a look at my pictures and to the folks that have left some feedback.
I've had another go at manipulating this picture.
A bit of a tighter crop and some colour and contrast adjustments. Hopefully this will look like a better picture with the bigger size also.

I never had much luck with them either until the other day when I took a walk through the woods and this one passed over my head. It was only about 30 or 40 foot up, where as every other time I tried to capture them they were far to high for a clear shot.
The time will come when you catch the shot you want.

Robert, thank you very much for the advice on the picture. I have chosen to darken the head a little, but thats my personal taste I think.
I've cropped it in a bit closer for a better close up of the bird.
