I have slowly seen this tree die away over the years. So when I was out today it caught my eye so I took this image.

Excellent image, well lit and great colours. Always pleasing to see a tog with imagination and a good eye for a picture. Well shot.

I admire your love of the countryside and the dmamge that nature can bestow on itself, BUT and it's a big one, you have to get back here and do this tree proud.
You need some decent light to separate the tree from the others, or maybe next spring when the leaves come out again and not on this poor dead tree.
It's nice and probably looks a lot better on your own screen but on the web where it's not sparkling.
I hope you don't take offence at me being hard but you have a good subject that won't go away before you can have another try. I hope you do.

A lovely scene that works well, possibly because of the snow on the tree. I have passed this tree many times and will look upon it differently now.
