I was heading home one winters day from taking some photos and as I was driving I noticed the reflection on Loch Awe of Kilchurn Castle.

I had to go out and capture a picture of it.

Thanks for looking.

Richie.

Thanks you very much for all your thoughts folks.
Mike Smith, thanks for your go at the modification, I hope you enjoyed the chance to have a go.

This is a change that I tried myself on PS, however I felt myphotoshop skills at the time never matched the quality of the picture.

The picture does look straighter and the border set off the overall look of the shot.

Only one final touch to your mod would be to clone out the pylon on the reflection its self.

Thanks again folks.

Richie.

Mountainman, thats alovely mod you have done there.
I think the mono background helps highlight the castle and the grass around it.

Many thanks.

Richie.

Nice shot here Richie and good that you spotted it, I like Mike's mod, the devil is in the detail, a wee tweak here and there and the image improves greatly.
All the best

Bloody shame they got to put the pylon behind this castle, it ruins many's a shot of it.

I might be inclined to clone out the pylon, in the refelection too. A fascinating shot, and a good capture. I wouldn't pass that by!

Great shot Richie, not an easy castle to take pictures, because of the always brown hills behind it, but you did well. Like the reflection.
