Team WAP headed out this morning to Over Owler Tor for sunrise (Paul was MIA) and even at 4.30am (an hour before sunrise) we could see the few clouds in the sky were going to turn red.
Turned out to be a quick photo session as once the sun rose, there wasn't much else to shoot bar a few misty zoom shots in the valley below....still it was well worth it to see this ![]()

cheers for your time guys...
This cloud was only the beginning over our side of the hill - Edale and Hope valley were stunningly beautiful in the mists this morning. This is super - as has been said, you can almost feel the texture in the rocks and the light os picking out the heather and grass beautifully. Carol
A breath-takingly beautiful view.
A great photograph.
Warm wishes, Iain.
Absolutely stunning. I can't for the life of me understand why this has so few votes. A perfect little piece of British summer time

Pity yesterday morning fizzled out before it really got going, but this is really good (now I've had chance to have a proper look).
Was good to have the scout around though wasn't it (midges notwithstandingl!), and think I might try and get back up this weekend.

can't blame you martin, I'm hoping the puddle stays there a couple of weeks so I can get back there myself...
