One taken from a superb week with the team (Paul and Fran) on the Isle of Skye from the week before last. I've not had chance to look at most of my shots properly but hopefully will get a bit of time to process one or two.

This one is from our first trip to Elgol where the conditions weren't that good....still it was good to be out and shooting again (it's been a long time!)

Great shot .

I like this one Richard, its quite refreshing to see a view out to sea a bit more than the usual with the headland on the right included.
I think the fg shoreline balances well with the Cuillin.
A little different from here and a fine scene as well.

Despite the rush of the tide, I've never seen Elgol looking so gentle! A beauty, Rich - many congrats on the EC.

Very nice indeed.
I like the composition with the main foreground interest in one corner and the distant mountains in the opposite corner. It creates a pleasing visual balance.

Beautifully captured. Nice to have the contrast of a shorter exposure in this shot from others I have seen from the same spot with longer exposures. It just goes to show that any image can be appealing if it's done right. Great work and congrats on the award.

I think the conditions were a lot better than you thought till you processed your work. Moody os what Skye does best and you've captured the mood to perfection here Richard, nice slow exposure, and great line of cloud behind the Cuillin.

Dougie

absolutely stunnin shot o' a gorgeous location! its photo's like this that make me wanna get a proper camera Wink
