Sometimes when out and about, the power of natural light can be quite amazing.
The sun at this point broke under a thick cloud illuminating the land with the most powerful light I've ever seen - so much that I couldn't even see through the viewfinder!
Nothing at all has been done in post processing to this photo, apart from a quick sharpen.
I'd appreciate some proper honest feedback on this one if you fancy it...
cheers

Nice layering in your composition, the light is lovely. I really like it.
Lovely light and a nice composition. The sky is stunning and that makes this photo extra eye cathing.
This is the magical light that landscape photographers crave. You've captured it extremely well.
My only suggestion - maybe you could clone out the telephone poles?
Mike
thanks for the comments everyone.
Mike: I thought about cloning the telegraph poles but decided they gave the image scale.
cheers
Wonderful light and shade in this great image Rihard.
It's a cracking shot Rich, well deserving of the HC.
The foreground light and the way it picks out the grasses and the rock is excellent and inspired. I like the dark background as I feel it helps draw attention to the beautifully lit foreground.
This is as honest as I can be, as I don't feel personally that there is much to criticise.
Martin
thanks guys.
Martin, originally I wasnt sure about this one, however I personally liked it.
Often I like images more that have a meaning to me or, if they were captured in difficult conditions I like them better than if it was an easy capture - I didn't know if this was the case with this photo.
Fantastic warm tones..great detail..An awesome shot..congrats on the HC...regards, Rob.
