Sorry I've not uploaded anything in a while, it's been busy at this end. Unwell relatives; parents on holiday; work etc.
Oh yes, and my first photo exhibition 
Now up and running at the Strathbrock Centre in Broxburn, West Lothian, and staying up for the next six months. Lots of preparation and planning, and I'm really proud of it. Thanks to everyone on the site who, especially in the last year, has given me the confidence to do it.
BIG THANKS IN PARTICULAR TO PETE. The recent awards were the last push I needed. GET WELL SOON.
I managed to stop off in the Lake District on my way back home from Yorkshire last week, but couldn't quite get there fast enough for sunrise, thanks to the roadworks outside Penrith. However, I still like this (even though there's no clouds), and it was a really nice test for my new glass. Mr Henson, if you're listening, cheers for the recommendation

Great pano. Love the light on the distant hills, the light dusting of snow on the foreground, and those sheep are a really nice bonus. Great shot, David, one to be proud of! I'm putting this in my favourites. Oh, and have my user award...
