OH YES IT FLIPPIN' WELL DOES!!!
The Boss & I decided to head out to see the Gormleys last night at sunset, and wandered up to the swimming baths end and the outlet pipe (don't ask what it lets out!)
As per usual, being somewhat braver than I, MrS marched straight down the pipe, clambering over the supports (and doing his knees no good at the same time), so I took myself to the water's edge, having seen the light catching the notice at the end of aforementioned pipe.
Anyway, back to cameras wot tell fibs!
Although this may look like a mill pond, I can assure you the waves were heading towards me at at least 4,000 miles an hour, and from standing on a bit of sand (albeit a rather gloopy bit) when I pressed the shutter for this 2 and a half minute exposure, by the time I released said shutter, the water was threatening to fill my wellies (yet again) and in classic Monty Python terminology I determined it was time to "RUN AWAY!!!!"
Hope you like - thanks for stopping by
