Taken shortly after my last upload but still before sunrise, moving downhill a bit (the wall gate from the last shot is at the top left) and turning to put the brightest sky off to the right.

This is on top of Tegg's nose quarry looking out to Macc forest and beyond.

Three images merged in Photomatix, ISO 200 f/10 1/80, 1/20, 1/5s.

Ah, the dawn I missed, because I forgot to switch my alarm on. Very nice to see what it looked like Grin

Beuatifully captured scene and light. I'd have thought this should have had a bit more attention by now.

Cheers all for the comments.

Chris - yes, even when the alarm goes off sometimes it is an effort!

Rich - thanks for the medal Wink Just looking at the shots from the South Wales meet - I'm off down there for a few days soon so looking at what photographic opportunities there are. I think the waterfalls in the Brecon Beacons will be on the list - should be plenty of water looking at the forecast.

Ant.

that patchwork of fields does the job for me, and the lead from the fencfe helps along too

My sort of HDR - the sort where it doesn't look like HDR. Brilliant processing and a nice composition.

Cheers, Mark
