Many thanks for all your comments on my last upload, very much appreciated.

Look back at some images from a trip to Scotland in 2012 and spotted this one, we were on the way home and called in at Bambrugh to see what the light would do. Which was not a lot but got some good foreground details
So thought it was worth sharing

Thanks for looking

Regards Richard

Top notch imagery Richard from foreground to the distant silhouetted form of this famous Northumbrian Castle is simply stunning, beautifully composed, exposed and captured.

Wonderful image of Bamburgh Castle with great morning light and sky. Particularly good composition with good foreground interest in the rock outcrop and Inner Farne just prominent enough to balance the castle nicely, the shutter speed giving a pleasing effect on the water.

Like the foreground detail and also the streak of red/orange dawn on the horizon. Nice to see a different take on a v popular subject.

Marvellous. At first I was a little puzzled by the light reflecting in the water immediately below the castle, and then realised that it's a reflection of a reflection from the castle itself.

Those we rocks really show up the texture and make a lovely FG piece drawing the eye around to the castle. Shame about the jet trails but it's hard to shoot there without them at that time of day.

I think I prefer this to so many of the hot sunsets we see. Lovely quality and light across the entire image.
