Many thanks for all your comments on my last upload very much appreciated.

Had a good trip out to the Farne Island earlier this week and managed to get a few Puffin image, this one from Staple Island. Lots of Puffins around this year and in full feeding mode at the moment.

Great portrait of this puffin.............was at Bempton Cliffs a couple of weeks ago and managed to see 2 through a scope but too far away to take a shot

Colour and clarity is very good, Richard, lovely separation from that background. A bit of a shame about the white splodge behind the legs but that was out of your control and only a minor negative in an otherwise excellent image.

Great image, nice pose, with good detail in the whites. I was up there last Saturday, first time I have landed on the islands, I agree a very impressive amount of bird activity but the sun was too bright for good photography, plan to go back though.
