Another wet grey day this time on the mainland, stopped of a break and the sky lightened slightly so with a bit of filter wiping and a tripod in the middle of the road and this was the result, captures the feel of the day for me.

Thanks for looking

The strength of composition overcomes the murky conditions. Oodles of atmosphere and a good capture that most would not even have considered.

I don't think this is the A82, it could be the A83 north of the rest and be thankful on the way to Inveraray? Looks just like Scotland on a soft weather day.Lovely.

Dougie

or heading down into Kintail on the way to Skye.

Hope you had a lookout for traffic behind you! I've had to move sharpish a couple of times when taking this kind of image. How the highlands often are - conveys dreichness really well.

Richard, didn't realize this was one of yours when the thumbnail version attracted my attention. It's a wonderful shot. How'd you get that slight break in the clouds to line up perfectly with the white line in the road?
Nicely done.

Atmosphere and mood captured beautifully. Really like the mist, and how the grey skies bring out the colour of the vegetation. This image actually reminds me of a spot in Norway - so similar.
