Out again at last

Been over a month or so since i went out with the camera, Work !!!!! always gets in the way. Anyway last week i decided to take the plunge and go the prime lens route. Managed to drop on a superb Canon 400 5.6L.

So today i ventured to Fairburn ings to see how different the lens performed from my Sigma 120 - 400mm.

The conditions were very variable, ISO bumped up to 800 at times to get a shutter speed quick enough to avoid camera shake.

All the following shots were hand held.











First ever attempt at Birds in flight.







For a first outing i dont think ive done a bad job at all. A little more practice and i think it will be fine,
