You have taken the shot straight into the sun, which gives the result you see, - a very dark shot, no detail in the dark areas, with the bright areas completely burned out.
If you would like to take a shot of the same scene, try waiting until just after the sun has set, when it below the horizon, and try it again.

You have this in the critique gallery, but you have no word of description, so it's hard to say anything as I don't know what you were aimimg for in the first place. It's nicely balanced but quite glary.. if you were aimimg for that effect it's fine, if not, then tell us what you were aiming for, or what specific questions you have about it..
