I was out looking for brown hares near to my home, and they were again conspicuous by their absence. I was sitting with the sun at my back looking down a field margin when this grey partridge male came walking towards me, he was strutting and calling as he walked, I think the sun must have been in his eyes because he came that close to me that I couldn't focus on him. Eventually he realized that I was there and he ran off back down the field margin.
Check out my Isle of Mull Workshop in June staying at the luxurious Isle of Mull Spa Hotel, european otter, white tailed eagle, red deer etc. etc.
