It is a great pose Geoff, lovely background too, great colours to compliment the bird. The DOF looks really shallow though, the head, feet and perch are all sharp yet the chest and tail are not.
I'd like to see more detail in the chest and wing personally, it looks odd to me because there is such good sharpness in the head and feet.

Love this.
Intriguing for me because I don't recognise what the vehicle is, or where it's set or what's going on.
B&W works very well, it's got a good perspective and a good sky.
All adds up to a great image
