This was taken at the same meeting again in colour but converted into B & W in photoshop,I think B & W in sports photography looks good.

A rather superbly timed image, which I think I would have preferred in colour, however still of an extremely high quality.

I'd have shot in manual or aperture-priority, wide-open, and gained a much shallower depth-of-field. I find the background too intrusive. Sorry.

Excellent action shot. Would like to see a little more contrast in the mono conversion.

F/3 would have been a little better, but at 32mm, it wouldnt have made a lot of difference to the depth of field, just subtracting about a foot from the dof.
