I like the colour coordination - well planned Smile There's a nice contrast between the power and speed of the train and the quietness of the surrounding landscape.

Love the excitement, colour and vector of the train. Smile You've picked a great spot and shutter speed. I just wonder if reducing the contrast/saturation on the grass may help as it currently slightly distracts from the main subject rather than enhancing it?

I used to see pictures of GW Castles racing up Dainton Bank in railway mags as a boy in Yorkshire. The location
is still evocative of holidays in Devon and Cornwall, a world away from Leeds. The HST does, however, make this
scene a bit like anywhere in the country. The loss of regional identity, colours and stock, in the late sixties; turned
railway travel into a uneventful corporate event.
