The wild landscape and skies of Ross-shire form a dramatic backdrop to the afternoon train from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh
What a 'raily' great image, full of all the right ingredients in which to make a glorious photograph. There will be critics who will pull it to pieces, but I love it for what it is.
Great moody sky and timing with the shot too Robin.
Great composition, wonderful light and tones, very well taken and presented,

Yes some will get "steamed up " about the lack of steam..lol
Great atmospheric image.
As you may guess I was sitting waiting for steam loco to pass, for over an hour we were treated to a series of spectacular skies while the loco took water just visible in the distance however when it did pass the sky was lets say more muted
Brilliant image with the train adding a sense of scale
Maybe in 40 years I may look at this with fond regard. Mind, I'd be 103 then !
I never thought I'd go gooey over green DMU's, but I have. Excellent work as
per usual Robin. Congrats on your contributions to Steam Railway mag this month.
