Welcome to my Portfolio!

I have been absent from ePZ for a couple of years as life got complicated, but am back and ready to get stuck in again.

I live in a small market town on the edge of the Lake District National Park - a great natural playground in which to walk, bike and - needless to say - photograph.

It is the great outdoors that inspires me most. I love the soft golden light of the darker months and the brooding storms that spill over the mountains. I love to be in the forest, on the open hills, in dark glens/valleys and sat by the wild and remote beaches.

I have a passion for all the wild places of both the United Kingdom and the world. I have travelled through Europe from the far north of Sweden to the far south of Spain, to the Americas and shortly to Australia.

My main income at present comes from engineering, but I have plans afoot to edge the balance more towards photography and environmental consultancy... but we shall see! I like the idea of having multiple smaller jobs rather than sticking to 1 main trade... short attention span or something! I have even started shooting the occasional wedding in the last few years!
